So, Veronica Foale convinced me to attempt NaBloPoMo this month. Basically the deal is that you blog daily for the month of November. It’s a spin off of NaNoWriMo which I’ve attempted four times and completed twice.
Honestly I’m not sure what I’ll talk about all month, it didn’t seem so daunting a week ago when I signed up, but now looking down the barrel of November it does. It really does. That said it feels a lot better than not signing up for anything. I miss NaNo. The friendly competition, the community of writers, the bad fiction, being pushed to get something, anything written down.
One day soon I’d like to get back to writing fiction. Maybe next year? Next November? We’ll see.
